Leaps and Bounds

It's been a wild ride this week. I am now offering CranioSacral Therapy and Reiki on Thursday mornings at Rocky Mountain Natural Medicine, in Hamilton, Montana and on Friday mornings at Big Breek Family Medicine in Florence, Montana. Wow. Very cool and very exciting. I worked on my dog friend Zeke again today. He is holding the work we have been doing with his lacrimal bones and today showed me some restrictions in his mid-thoracic (back) and his right shoulder. Both areas released intense amounts of heat as the restricitions released. After the session he was moving much better. This session he was able to allow me to work for a longer period of time but he was also very clear when he was finished and ready to go back to his owner.

In addition to my new work schedule I also won this awesome Crystal book on Ebay, "Love Is In The Earth" by Melody. It is stuffed with great, useful information about crystals, their uses, care, history, shapes. All cross referenced for easy access to the information. I am stoked to add this book to my library of reference materials.

The sun also in the last couple of days created a gi-normous sunspot so be ready for solar flares to follow that could impinge on your cell phone, computer and TV usage. Also, try to keep yourself well grounded because the energy these flares emit can and will make perfectly sane people temporarily goofy to varying degrees. The more grounded you are the better you will fare as these pass through. How do you ground yourself? The quickest, simplest way is to imagine a giant hose that connects the base of your spine to the center of the earth. Through it you will draw up grounding earth energy. Pass the energy up your spine, over the top of your head, down the front of you and back into the earth through the soles of your feet. Keep this circuit open and flowing no matter where you are or what you are doing. It's mobile and can go with you anywhere. If you find yourself in the coming days feeling "off", check often to make sure you are grounded and, if not, take a minute and re-establish the connection. Become habitualized to staying grounded day in and day out and you will notice a remarkable and positive change in your life.

Cheers,

Tanya

I Made A Dog Cry...

Yesterday I made a dog cry. Normally, I would expect people to be unhappy with me for this. However, this time it was a good thing. Really. The lab hasn't been able to produce his own tears for a couple of years now. He walks everywhere squinting because everything hurts his eyes. He has a history of having had his head crushed as a pup and the owner has done everything the vets have asked. Yesterday, his owner let me do some CranioSacral work on him specific to his lacrimal bones. I worked on the dog for about 30 minutes and then he had had enough.

We waited about 10 minutes more and noticed that his eyeballs looked wetter. Then he started blinking more and finally he actually opened his eyes and looked around a bit. How long will it last? I don't know, I have never addressed this issue before. I am going to see him again in a few days and that will tell me a lot about how effective (or not) the work was. But he was definitely more comfortable after the session. Hopefully, with each session there will be additional improvement. Since he didn't get this way over night, one session isn't going to fix him overnight, but it was certainly satisfying to watch him blink and look around.

Welcome To White Bird Reiki!

Thank you for visiting my site and thank you for taking the time to read my blog!

I hope to use this blog to talk about Reiki, answer questions about Reiki and help people to discover Reiki. Please feel free to comment on my posts but please do so in a polite and civil manner. Compliments are accepted along with critiques, :) but critiques that are needlessly cruel and/or cutting will be eliminated at my discretion.

I have used Reiki on a multitude of things, including my car. I Reiki it regularly to help it hold together (it's a 1997 model) and to improve its gas miliage. With Reiki I average @ 18mpg, without it I get @ 16mpg. Needless to say, with today's gas prices, 2 mpg adds up over time and makes it worth my time to do it. How can I Reiki my car? Well, the materials used to make the car are ultimately made of energy and Reiki is a form of energy. Because that commonality exists, I can Reiki my car. Since matter is energy and energy can not be created or destroyed, reiki can be used on all matter. However, I am not here to argue the physics of all this, at least not at this point and time, lol.

I have also used Reiki on family, friends, animals (wild and domestic), aquatics, plants, trees, myself and mother earth. I regularly send Reiki Bouquets to many people and pets for a myriad of reasons. Some just need an extra boost, some are injured and some are chronically ill. I use Reiki quite a bit during CranioSacral sessions, with my clients knowledge and consent, and to their great pleasure. It is a healing modality that is almost always useful and complimentary to everything else. Occasionally, I refrain from its use. Most often around broken bones when I am not sure they have been set or set correctly. Reiki enhances healing and I don't want to be the cause of someone having to have a bone re-broken!

So far today, I have used Reiki on my husband, cat, dog and one of the horses. I have also sent out several Bouquets. It has become a daily lifestyle thing for me and I enjoy sharing it immensely.

Do you Reiki? On what and how often? Lets start a conversation!

So long for now. Catch you on the flipside!

Tanya
